MAIN
TECHNICAL FEATURES in common to all the configurations:

The
Mobile stand is very easy to move, with a wide range and
easy positioning of the arm, with a "deadman"
safety parking brake, tilting device to overcome any small
obstacles, x-ray cassettes compartments.

Micro-processor
controlled control desk, providing 2-Point Technique kV-mAs,
Anatomical Programming Mode with 40 memories, extremely
short exposure time,(3 millisecond Compact 3 and 6 /1,3
millisecond Compact 15 and 30 ) capacitors assisted supply
to deliver maximum power even if the unit is connected to a
standard 12A socket (Compact 15 and 30).

Self-diagnosis
software and LCD display, on the control desk, having error
function indication.

collimator with halogen lamp for centring, even in daylight

Starting
from 2001 Italray has introduced another mobile x-ray unit named
BASIC on the market. This system has the same radiological
features of the COMPACT but it has a simplified mechanic without
the rotation of the x-ray tube arm on its axis. This feature, if
on one side, limits the possibilities of the system,on the other
it lightens the system making it more easy to move. This also
means the possibility to have a lower purchase price. All the
other features are unchanged. Also the versions are the same; in
fact, following versions are available:
